MessageBird offers a range of subscription plans for Inbox which can be viewed in more detail on our pricing page. When creating your Inbox account you will start on a free plan by default. Below we will explain how you can manage your Inbox subscription plan according to your needs.
- Upgrading from a free plan to Pro or Pro Plus
- Upgrading from a free plan to a custom plan
- Upgrading a paid plan
- Downgrading a paid plan
If you are currently on a free plan and would like to upgrade this to the Pro Plus plan, you can do so via the MessageBird Pricing page. Simply click on the Get Started button under the Pro Plus plan.
In order for us to set up your Inbox plan, you will be asked to provide further details about your company on the following pages. Lastly, we will also ask you for your payment details for the subscription costs and give you an overview of your subscription details. To confirm your new Inbox subscription plan, press Confirm and Pay in the bottom right corner. Your Inbox plan is now set up!

If you are currently on a paid plan and would like to upgrade it, our Sales team will help you make the necessary changes. Please reach out via our Contact Sales form, and we will be in touch shortly.
Paid plans have a minimum commitment period of 12 months, during which no downgrade is possible. After the 12-month period, you will have the option to renew your plan. If you do not opt for renewing, you will be downgraded to a free plan by default. If you are looking to switch to a lower-paid plan after the 12-month period, please reach out to our Sales team via this form to get this set up.
