What are click to WhatsApp ads?
These ads allow your customers to easily connect with your business via WhatsApp.
On Facebook, you can create ads that easily lead to a WhatsApp conversation. You can add a Send Message button to your Facebook or Instagram ads which opens a conversation thread in the WhatsApp.

Connect your WhatsApp account to your Facebook page — don’t forget to make yourself the admin of your Page.
Create ads that click to WhatsApp
Step 1: Create your ad

Go to Facebook's Ads Manager and select Create.

Choose Messages as your marketing objective. Keep in mind that the Messages objective is unavailable when targeting India and selected EU countries.
Step 2: Follow the instructions below depending on your ad objective
- Ads with the Traffic, Website Conversions, or Messages objectives

In the Message Destination section, select WhatsApp Business.

Choose your audience, placements, and campaign schedule.

In the Ad section, choose the images, text and headline for your ad.

Done! 🎉Click Confirm to publish your ad.
- Ads with the Reach, Brand Awareness, Engagement or Video Views objectives

Choose your audience, placements, and campaign schedule.

Under Links, click Add Website URL and add the URL of your business website.

Under Call to Action, select Send WhatsApp Message.

Select your Page connected to the WhatsApp number from the drop-down menu.

Done! 🎉Click Confirm to publish your ad.
Step 3: Link your channel in Flow Builder
- Go to Flow Builder and create a new flow.
- Select Omni-channel or WhatsApp as the trigger.
- Choose your WhatsApp business channel and start building your flow.
- If you have already built your flow, then simply attach your WhatsApp Business channel to the flow.
- Publish your flow in the top right corner of your screen, and you're good to go!
