In this guide, you’ll learn how to connect and disconnect a channel from Inbox using your Flows.
If you installed a channel through MessageBird Dashboard and want to connect it to Inbox or you’re looking to disconnect a channel from Inbox, you can easily do it with your Flows.
Go to inbox.messagebird.com, tap Settings on the side navigation and select Flows from the sub-navigation. Under My flows, you’ll see a list of all your saved flows. The Inbox flow (Conversations) is automatically created by MessageBird and has all your MessageBird channels.
Unless you created an additional flow, click Inbox flow (Conversations) to start editing. This will bring you to an open Flow Builder view with ‘Omni-channel’ as the trigger of your flow. It will look like this:
Click the Omni-channel step. A list with all your channels will be displayed on the right side of your screen. The channels that have a ✓ are connected to Inbox; those that don’t have a ✓ are not connected. For example, WhatsApp Channel Os is connected to Inbox and Sandbox is not connected:
Find the channel you want to connect and mark it with a ✓. If you’re looking to disconnect a channel, simply remove the ✓. Ready? Press Save. Keep in mind that you can go back to this step and edit anytime the message you need.
Awesome! Publish your flow in the top right corner of your screen, and you're good to go! Channels marked with a ✓ will be connected to Inbox, while those without a ✓ won’t be connected.
