At the moment, it’s only possible to add contacts manually. Soon you’ll be able to import your contacts document in .csv format.
Manually add contacts
Go to inbox.messagebird.com, tap Contacts on the side navigation, and click + Add new contact. Fill in the form with the contact information and click Save when you’re finished. Adding the contact languages will help you set up routing for your Support team, for you don’t want an agent who speaks only Spanish to attend the ticket of a client who is asking a question in Dutch.

Another way to manually add a contact is to edit the contact information of incoming tickets.
If a ticket comes in and the contact is not registered, you’ll notice the contact details are empty. Tap Edit contact, fill in the form with the contact information (in the same way as manually adding a contact), and click Save when you’re finished. And that’s it! It will now appear in your Contacts.
