New Zealand Market Update (November 2019)
Due to an increase in operator regulations, termination of all SMS towards New Zealand is considered best-effort delivery. This means messages may or not deliver; this is out of our control.
A solution to this would be to procure a dedicated shortcode in New Zealand. This will be the most reliable solution to deliver messages towards New Zealand, irrespective of the network operator. If you are interested in a 1-way or 2-way New Zealand dedicated shortcode, please reach out to support@messagebird.com for pricing and lead time.
