MessageBird offers the option to set a low balance notification on your account. This notification will be triggered when your balance reaches a certain point, specified by you, and you will be prompted to top up your account. Below we will discuss the following topics:

Setting up the notification
You can set-up low balance notifications here. Or click on the name of your Workspace in the top right corner, select 'Billing' from the drop-down menu and go to the ‘Preferences’ tab.
Next to 'Balance Warning' you can toggle the button to the right to switch on the notifications. On the right you can select how you want be notified (via email, SMS or both) and enter an amount for the warning to be triggered.
Setting up the notification contacts
You can specify which contacts within your organisation should receive the low balance notifications. You can set these up on this page, or by clicking on the name of your Workspace in the top right corner, select 'Settings' from the drop-down menu and go to the ‘Notifications’ tab. Under 'Balance warning, add the emails and phone numbers for the contacts. To add multiple contacts, just click on '+' for a new contacts field to appear.
