If you send out the same message regularly or want to have a few versions of a similar text available, you can save time by creating SMS templates. Also, they help you avoid typos and increase your message consistency and recognition with your recipients.
There are two ways of creating a template:
- When you are sending out a message and get to the final step, tick the box ‘Create a template based on this message’ when you are sending out your message by ticking the box, or you can manually set up a whole series of templates.
- Click here, or go to the top-left side of the Dashboard SMS → Templates → 'Add template'. Give your template a name so you can easily recognise it, now simply write down and personalise the message. When ready, click 'Add'. Ready! Your template is now saved.
When you send a message, the option 'Templates' will appear on the right side of your screen. All your saved templates will be displayed in a drop-down menu by clicking on it.
