Viewing your inbound SMS

In your MessageBird Dashboard you can find all your received SMS. For data storage reasons, we differentiate between the following:

• SMS received less than 30 days ago

• SMS received more than 30 days ago

SMS received less than 30 days ago

SMS received less than 30 days ago are visible in your SMS Overview in your Dashboard. In the SMS section on the left-hand side of your Dashboard you will find your overview. To see your replies, go to 'Received'.

SMS received more than 30 days ago

For messages received beyond 30 days (up to 1 year) you can export a CSV file. CSV files can be opened in spreadsheet applications - such as Excel. Go to your SMS Overview in the 'SMS'-menu on the left-hand side of your Dashboard and select 'Export'.

Before you can export your file you will be asked to select some details, such as the period, extra information that should be exported and a delimiter for your file. To view your replies from end-users, select 'Received' under 'Select message type' as shown below:
