Once you’ve created a MessageBird account, you can claim free test credits and try out our SMS features by messaging your own number. Please note that one test credit = one SMS.
In the top right corner of the Dashboard, you will see the option to 'Claim your credits'.
You’ll receive a code to your phone, which you will need to submit to activate the credits.
- Try switching off the phone completely, removing the battery and restarting it. Then request another message.
- If this still does not work, send us your phone number to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll be happy to get your account ready for testing!
Note that if you want to send messages to a different number, you'll have to upgrade your account and top up.
