Once you’ve created a MessageBird account, you can claim free test credits and try out our SMS features by messaging your own number. Please note that one test credit = one SMS.
In the top right corner of the Dashboard, you will see the option to 'Claim your credits'.
You’ll receive a code to your phone, which you will need to submit to activate the credits.
- Try switching off the phone completely, removing the battery and restarting it. Then request another message.
- If this still does not work, please reach out to our Support team via this page listing your phone number to which the SMS was sent, and we'll be happy to get your account ready for testing!
Note that if you want to send messages to a different number, you'll have to upgrade your account and top up.
